Sam Skibbe is back on Holey Commutes to fill in for Caleb Jonkman in the month of July.  He recaps many things happening in the wiffle world and the COVID effect.  Also, a debate with himself on the weekend style of play versus a full summer league schedule after the SWBL recently started a summer league in 2020.  

Where did wiffleball's favorite team, Way too Beautiful, get their name from? The answer will make you cringe. This episode features Adam "Milzy" Milsted and Ian Crosby to discuss where the team originated, what they're doing now, and how confident they feel about the upcoming UWIFF event. This was one of my most favorite conversations to date, lots of reminiscing, and lots of high quality wiff talk.

On the first episode of Holey Commutes! season 4, Monday host Paul Cooke is joined by his brother to Tim to discuss what they did wiffleball wise during the stay-at-home period. Paul & Tim discuss their participation in and aspirations for the new United Wiffleball National Championship Tournament, as well as how the pandemic has altered the recently-started 2020 Mid Atlantic tournament season.

Leroy Wiffle is not a boring league, and they are not a boring panel. With Tom G judging, a panel of Caleb and Jared Jonkman, Erik Detmar, and Jordan Mosel brought plenty of hot takes throughout the show. They talk about whether Tim W is a genius or insane, if they're jealous of GBL's National Team success, they name a top player no one has heard of, and they form a super league of Indiana Wiffle using rules from all four of their major leagues.

It's our first ever sidearm story from someone not named Stein...unfortunately its from someone named Connor. And even more unfortunate, he's responding to the toxic wiffs episode with a HEAVY level of toxicity. And even MORE unfortunate he couldn't muster the enthusiasm to break the two minute mark, and as a result I had to fill the missing three minutes with my fact checking. I sit down with Danny Haverty and Danny Whitener to talk about their pasts, their current beefs, and, of course, who had the more frustrating defeat at a NCT.
