Shut up Stein Side(arm) Stories - Part 1: A rating system that will work (if you let it)

Remember when I used to bang my head against the wall trying to desperately stop the collapse of fast pitch wiffs? You ever stop and think, "wtf does this idiot even know about wiffs?" Ever thnk, "I'd love to hear what this douchebag has to offer." Okay, probably not, but here it is anyway. Welcome to Side(arm) Stories. These 5-10 minute segments are for ANYONE who has ANYTHING to say about wiffs, but perhaps may not want to come on an episode for reasons that are...well...probably related to me being simply awful. Here's my proposal for a rating system. It's full proof with no loopholes. I dare you to find one thing wrong with it. You can't can you? Shut up Stein - Episode 6: Anklets

Who's the hottest guy in wiffs? it's definitely subject to debate, but we've got the youngest nominee right here in 2019 Fast Plastic Cy Young winner Cooper Ruckel, aka Coop. In this episode we sit down and talk about how to make sure that young hot guys like Coop don't burn out, and become "lifers." We're also STILL talking about the moonlight manifesto and just what the hell should be done about ensuring that NCTs are both national and a proper tournament. Shut up Stein - Episode 4: The Moonlight Manifesto

In the wake of Fast Plastic's bombshell format (see episode 2.5), there have been a lot of swirling rumors as to what is going to happen in the world of fast pitch wiffs. Turns out an old school wiffs legend heard about all of this and it reminded him of something he wrote back in 2012, addressed to Lou and the other "powers that be" at that time. It's eerie because that manuscript is not only applicable to today's wiffle situation, it sounds ass if it was written just last week. ALL HANDS ON DECK!! In case you live under a dirt shack and missed it, Fast plastic has (yet again) implemented a completely random and massively unpopular format change without any warning or notification. Who came up with it?! And why?! Is anyone going to go to a tournament with such ridiculous constraints? Am I really a higher "ranked" player than Sean Handhal or Pat Leahy? It's a thing now. These lists. These rankings. Best team, best player, biggest comeback, best unis, good god it goes on and on. But you gotta talk about SOMETHING over the off season, right?
