In his recent article for the Drop, Nick interviewed a quartet of high end Mid Atlantic area pitchers to pick their brains on what it takes to be a successful wiffleball pitcher. Diving off of that, this episode of the Drop Podcast explores several pitching-related topics. Borrowing from a question asked on the pilot episode of “The Cut Off” podcast, we discuss whether we think wiffleball pitchers can be developed from scratch. We also look at some pitching strategies and whether the rise of the short reliever in Major League Baseball could find its way to competitive wiffs.

Not knowing what to call this episode, we then just decided to call it: Two Wiffle Dudes Episode 86. It's not a traditional episode, we didn't edit much, but hopefully its halfway entertaining.

Moving into the 2019 Season, MLW has made some major announcements regarding the expansion of the league. One of the new team that caught my eye instantly was the Metro Magic. Headed up by Jack Aigner, the Magic will feature two league veterans as well as two rookies. In Episode 10 of WSP, we sit down and talk with Jack about his MLW career thus far, why he wanted to start his own team, and what he hopes to bring to the table in 2019, enjoy!!
