Yesterday it was announced, officially, that MAW is postponing their opening day event. Fucking. Bummer. At least we can bring Tim and Paul (Who I still can't tell apart by voice) on to the show to. talk about the implications of COVID-19 as well as hear a little about their broader vision for not just MAW, but also wiffs writ large. I don't think I've ever been more impressed with the head(s) on a league owner's shoulders than these guys. I. hate to say it but..Connah might have been right about the Cookes!

Who is the kind of wiffle beef? Dumb question, it's ya boy, but we get another beef star on the horn in Carl Coffee ( also, LFGBEEF). CC has an interesting history in not only running wiff events, but also using social media to amass clicks, followers, and even *gasp* teams?! How do we do it? How do we use the magic of the internet to get ahold of the people who are most likely to play wiffs? Check it out as we knock boots on another classic episode.
Oh, also, there's a pandemic.

Just when you thought that this whole wiffle shit talk thing was old hat, along comes Brett with a classic "Ok, Boomer" moment. And yes, I'm aware that the OKB isn't funny anymore - that's just how UN-funny Brett is. Brett would NEVER appear on the show of a subordinate, so we decided to invite the target of his insane and truly boring videos (yes, there have been multiple videos) on to not only say his piece, but also talk about the NWLA and how we can add to the synergy of the Wiff community. Ladies and gentlemen, it's a battle of two of the most hated Wifflers in the modern era: Stein and Justing Michael Tompkins

Remember when I used to bang my head against the wall trying to desperately stop the collapse of fast pitch wiffs? You ever stop and think, "wtf does this idiot even know about wiffs?" Ever thnk, "I'd love to hear what this douchebag has to offer." Okay, probably not, but here it is anyway. Welcome to Side(arm) Stories. These 5-10 minute segments are for ANYONE who has ANYTHING to say about wiffs, but perhaps may not want to come on an episode for reasons that are...well...probably related to me being simply awful. Here's my proposal for a rating system. It's full proof with no loopholes. I dare you to find one thing wrong with it. You can't can you? Thats cause I'm best in goyme and you STOINK

Who's the hottest guy in wiffs? it's definitely subject to debate, but we've got the youngest nominee right here in 2019 Fast Plastic Cy Young winner Cooper Ruckel, aka Coop. In this episode we sit down and talk about how to make sure that young hot guys like Coop don't burn out, and become "lifers." We're also STILL talking about the moonlight manifesto and just what the hell should be done about ensuring that NCTs are both national and a proper tournament. Oh also I fired Connor cause he STOINKS.

WARNING: If you are not a full student of the goyme, this episode is not for you. There is too much history, personal narrative, an administrative banter for the casual wiffler. But if you'd like just a peek into the conversations that ultimately produce wiffleball rules, events, and legislation, give this (very long) episode a listen. I normally edit these things to keep them 25-35 minutes, but I kept this one RAW. Ken Rodgers (aka Moonlight) and Texas Tim join us to further break down the pros and cons of the 2012 Moonlight Manifesto. Also, it's almost time for me to start sharing my ideas...WOOF.

In the wake of Fast Plastic's bombshell format (see episode 2.5), there have been a lot of swirling rumors as to what is going to happen in the world of fast pitch wiffs. Turns out an old school wiffs legend heard about all of this and it reminded him of something he wrote back in 2012, addressed to Lou and the other "powers that be" at that time. It's eerie because that manuscript is not only applicable to today's wiffle situation, it sounds ass if it was written just last week. Check out our analysis of that manifesto with guests Kenny Rodgers Jr. and Ben Stant. And buckle up, because we may just have to release a part II to this saga!

ALL HANDS ON DECK!! In case you live under a dirt shack and missed it, Fast plastic has (yet again) implemented a completely random and massively unpopular format change without any warning or notification. Who came up with it?! And why?! Is anyone going to go to a tournament with such ridiculous constraints? Am I really a higher "ranked" player than Sean Handhal or Pat Leahy? We'll hear from FIVE callers (some old, some new) as we try to tackle all of this before it is inevitably revoked in two months.

It's a thing now. These lists. These rankings. Best team, best player, biggest comeback, best unis, good god it goes on and on. But you gotta talk about SOMETHING over the off season, right? We invite David "Road Toast" Wood on this episode to talk about these rankings, to make some rankings of his own, and even to pressure us to rank a couple of things as well. With Connor nodding off throughout the entire show it was...actually pretty smooth for once.

It's deep into the off season and this is the time of year in which big conversations are needed. Who better to spark these conversations than one of the biggest names in the goyme, Mr. Jordan "Jumpman" Robles. In this episode we discuss simple tips of hitting and pitching, as well as a couple of simple steps that can be taken by the wiffle elite to help grow the goyme to where it was at the start of the last decade. Will anyone take our advice? I'll let the title of the show answer that one for ya.
