On this episode, we test out a new format - “3 Strikes” - where the three of us choose one specific subject to speak about from a more general Wiffle Ball topic. In this episode, the general topic is historical/”retired” Wiffle Ball pitchers. Nick, Paul, and Tim each choose a pitcher from a bygone era of the game to discuss. Find out why these pitchers were on our minds, what stood out about them when they played, interesting stories from our interactions with them, where we think they stand historically, and much more!

The Drop: Player Projection & Evaluation - Offense
Monday Feb 03, 2020
Monday Feb 03, 2020
Following the pitching projection/evaluation discussion, we turn our attention to the other side of the ball. Some wifflers believe that hitting a wiffleball is one of the hardest things to do in any sport. It can also be difficult (if not impossible) to replicate top-level pitching outside of game situations. So how do young hitters grow? What are the fundamental aspects of a good wiffleball hitter? How long does it take to develop into the hitter you are ultimately going to be? We tackle all of this and more in this edition of The DROP Podcast!

ALL HANDS ON DECK!! In case you live under a dirt shack and missed it, Fast plastic has (yet again) implemented a completely random and massively unpopular format change without any warning or notification. Who came up with it?! And why?! Is anyone going to go to a tournament with such ridiculous constraints? Am I really a higher "ranked" player than Sean Handhal or Pat Leahy? We'll hear from FIVE callers (some old, some new) as we try to tackle all of this before it is inevitably revoked in two months.

Simplicity
Tuesday Jan 21, 2020
Tuesday Jan 21, 2020
It's deep into the off season and this is the time of year in which big conversations are needed. Who better to spark these conversations than one of the biggest names in the goyme, Mr. Jordan "Jumpman" Robles. In this episode we discuss simple tips of hitting and pitching, as well as a couple of simple steps that can be taken by the wiffle elite to help grow the goyme to where it was at the start of the last decade. Will anyone take our advice? I'll let the title of the show answer that one for ya.
