On the 2nd part of our two-part interview with former In the Box/NY Knights standout Joe Nord, Joe discusses the back-half of his 2000's run including the difficulties in winning a second national title, taking the reigns as a team captain, and how arm injuries eventually caught up with him.

Joe also discusses the 2021 scene including which current player reminds him most of himself in his prime, which young players have caught his eye, and his personal plans for this upcoming season in MAW, GSWL, and United Wiffleball.

We recently sat down and chatted with 2005 Fast Plastic national champion and one of the true standout players of the first decade of the 21st century, Joe Nord.

In Part I of this multi-part interview, Joe discusses his origins in the sport, having famed In the Box captain Tom LoCascio as his high school teacher and later teammate/wiffleball mentor, his early years in competitive Wiffleball, and his eventual rise to becoming one-half of the only two-man team ever to win a national fast pitch championship!
